Vegasino Canada still has a long way to go before topping any charts of the best online casinos. The casino has had a strong start, with plenty of games and bonuses. But when many of the games are filler and the bonuses don’t deliver great value, it’s hard to compensate for other flaws like the limited banking and poor customer support. The lack of a legitimate license is the cherry on top for why you should skip Vegasino for now, at least until the casino has cleaned up its act.

Until Vegasino Canada makes some serious upgrades, especially around transparency, customer trust, and payout reliability, it’s difficult to recommend it over more reputable alternatives. While the flashy design and large game count might tempt new players, experienced users will quickly spot the red flags. At first glance, I quite liked Vegasino, but the more time I spent with the casino the more flaws I noticed. Chief among them is the lack of a legitimate casino license, which alone will scare aware veteran gamblers. That said, a large games library will provide long-lasting fun if you do decide to stick with Vegasino.

I was initially impressed by the casino bonuses at Vegasino, but as I dug a little deeper, my opinion started to change. Although any given Vegasino bonus offers decent value, I was still disappointed by the variety of promotions available. You can claim deposit matching bonuses, free spins, or cashback, but there are only a couple options for each. Some extras like a bonus shop and VIP program are nice-to-have but can’t quite compensate for the core bonuses.

Bonuses

The Vegasino welcome bonus promises to help new players launch into their first play session with 100% deposit matching up to $750.00, plus 200 free spins and 1 Bonus Crab play (see below). The free spins are meted out in sets of 20 over your first ten days at Vegasino. This welcome bonus offers some great value, but is fairly middle-of-the-pack for an online casino.

What makes Vegasino stand out is Bonus Crab, a crane game live streamed to your desktop. Through other bonuses, you can snag Bonus Crab plays and try to catch a stuffie, redeemable for cash prizes, free spins, or shop coins.

Wagering Requirements

To demonstrate how to calculate your wagering requirements, let’s use the welcome bonus as an example. If I claim the maximum $750.00 in bonus credit, I’ll need to wager $26,250.00 in real money before I can withdraw any winnings earned with that bonus (750 x 35 = 26,250).

Loyalty Program

Recurring players can expect a few VIP casino rewards from Vegasino, but the loyalty program is fairly small. Out of five VIP tiers, the first two levels receive no bonuses. But the top three levels enjoy 15% cashback on all casino wagers, higher withdrawal limits, personalized promos, and an account manager. Nothing about the VIP program blew me away, but it nicely rounds out the available bonuses.

I was asked for my name, birthdate, address, sex, email, cell number, and preferred currency. While registering, I was prompted to pick a welcome bonus, helping prevent new players from accidentally skipping over the bonus.

You’ll find a good selection of banking options available. Vegasino hasn’t really standardized its payment minimums, so most casino payment methods have a unique deposit or withdrawal minimum you’ll have to check before making a transaction.

Vegasino Canada has a decent selection of deposit methods, with the best options being Interac casino deposits and MasterCard casino deposits for both speed and security. The minimum deposit for bonuses is $15.00, which nicely parallels the minimum deposit on many payment methods—Interac being the sole outlier.

Vegasino tries to capture a James Bond-esque 50s spy aesthetic, but the visuals largely fall flat thanks to uninspiring art and a beige palette that dominates the casino site.

Currently, there is no standalone Vegasino app either available in app stores or from the casino site itself. But Vegasino is fully mobile optimized for you to play in your iOS or Android device’s browser.

The casino ran great on my phone, with no visible lag at any point. While the mobile layout is certainly more cramped than on desktop, it still keeps everything nicely organized and easily navigable.

You have three main channels for Vegasino customer support. A limited FAQ section, an email helpline, and a 24/7 live chat with support reps.

I found the live chat reps perfectly pleasant and polite. However, they actively dodged some of my questions. Once I was told the answer I was looking for was in the Terms & Conditions, but when I asked where in the T&C I should look, I was told the rep “honestly forgot which section of the T&C” held the answer. This evasive behaviour is dishonest and does not invoke trust in the customer support.

Vegasino is very cagey about a lot of licensing and regulatory info. The site layout and mechanics indicate it was operated by Rabidi N.V., which declared bankruptcy in early 2024 after its license was revoked for scamming players. As of today Vegasino owned and operated by Stellar Ltd and regulated by Anjouan Licensing Services Inc.

Auditing
