Ghost Gaming has announced its return to competitive Counter-Strike and revealed its women’s roster. 

The esports outfit posted the news on X, accompanied by a video, and tagged each member of the roster.

Examining the Roster

The new lineup Ghost Gaming has showcased features numerous Counter-Strike veterans, including Tilde “7livioys” Byström, a Swedish player and on-air personality, Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido, who has won several versions of the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival and more over her 10 years of competitive play.

ESL Impact Season 7 Qualifiers

Some players have already competed in ESL Impact, the tournament organizers' Counter-Strike league for women. The qualifiers for Season 7 will begin on Feb. 4. 

That said, Ghost Gaming hasn’t shared details regarding tournament participation for its Counter-Strike 2 squad.

Ghost Gaming was founded in 2016 and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. It competes in Fortnite, VALORANT, Rocket League, and Call of Duty. 

Ghost Gaming had an excellent CS:GO squad from 2017 to 2019, with players like Matthew “Wardell” Yu and Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik. 

Some of Ghost Gaming’s top achievements include winning the ZOTAC Cup Masters in 2018, Americas, and the WESG 2018 in Canada. It has also participated in numerous other leagues and competitions. 

However, they’ve never taken home a top trophy. 

Ghost Gaming has also invested in women’s esports, including social media accounts dedicated to women members. In 2024, it partnered with BroadcastHER Academy.
