PUBG Mobile, a mobile battle royale, has announced a partnership with the esports partnership with Qidddiya Gaming. This is part of the Saudi Arabian entertainment and tourism project in Qiddiya. 

According to the press release, the two will work together to create “enhanced gaming and esports experiences” for PUBG Mobile players and event attendees.

Additional Details 

The partnership kicks off at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, which will take place in London from Dec. 6 to Dec. 8. The release also stated that Qiddiya would play an “integral role” throughout the tournament. 

Qiddiya will also work with PUGB Mobile developers to create in-game content within its World of Wonder game mode. The content will aim to “enrich the battle royale experience.” 

More information on the in-game content will be announced in the coming months. 

PUBG Mobile's Past Relations with Saudi Arabia

This isn’t the first time PUBG Mobile has worked with Saudia Arabia. In March 2024, the developer, Level Infinite, partnered with the Esports World Cup Federation to feature the game and has also agreed to other collaborations over the next three years. 

Background on Qiddiya 

Qiddiya was announced in 2023 and continues to agree to new partnerships within the esports industry. In 2024, it was reported that Qiddiya was trying to attract organizations and operators to the city. 

PUBG Mobile joins Mobile Legends: Bang Bang as another title Qiddiya is supporting. The partnership with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang  was announced in June.
