There’s been another addition to the Esports World Cup: Rainbow Six Siege. 

The Ubisoft first-person shooter title is the latest game announced for the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia event in the summer of 2025. 

Speaking of Saudi Arabia, PUBG Mobile recently partnered with Qiddiya Gaming. 

Latest Prize Pool Information 

The prize pool for the Rainbow Six Siege tournament for 2025 has yet to be announced. However, in 2024, the tournament had 16 teams for about $2 million in prize winnings. 

Rainbow Six Has Been Successful

According to Esports Charts, the peak viewership in 2024 reached 67,873 across the event. Team BDS beat w7m esports in the Grand Finals. 

This announcement comes after a strong 2024 for the Rainbow Six IP. The Six Invitational in February recorded record viewership. In November, a revamped revenue program for esports players was announced. 

Now, they’ll be able to earn even more revenue. 

Ubisoft Speaks Out 

Rainbow Six is the seventh game announced for the EWC. It’s another first-person shooter along with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. There’s also Street Fighter 6 and Dota 2.

We’re looking forward to witnessing an exciting competition and creating new unforgettable moments next summer.”
