The jackpot reached an American online casino-record $4 million in February, only to continue growing to the $6.4 million total. The jackpot was known as “The Big One” and was funded by Entain’s in-house games.
The lucky bettor effectively made out with +3200000 odds on a $200 wager made while playing a game called Fruit Blaster.
Fruit Blaster is one of more than 2,000 games available at BetMGM online casino and is a five-reel slot game comprised of wheels with different fruits. Players have to match the fruits in a prescribed order to achieve the highest possible payout.
Bettors had the chance to win “The Big One” by playing BetMGM, Borgata, Wheel of Fortune Casino and Party Casino.
BetMGM first confirmed the win via its social media pages.
“Our MASSIVE record-breaking New Jersey jackpot has hit!” BetMGM said on X (formerly Twitter). “A VERY lucky NJ player is now the proud winner of the LARGEST jackpot in online casino history.”
A landmark event
Dam Greenblatt, chief executive officer of BetMGM, said the record-setting jackpot win proved that BetMGM was the number-one source for online casino gaming.

Any payout exceeding $500,000 requires winning bettors to travel to an MGM Resorts International Property to claim their prize.
The New Jersey jackpot was reset to $1.2 million as of Tuesday following the win.
