The Employee Injured
The only information we have on the injured employee is that they’re a 47-year-old woman. She, fortunately, didn’t suffer any serious injuries but was still transported to a local hospital.
Police responded to the scene at about 11:30 pm Monday night.
The vehicle landed in the wall of an employee breakroom. No other employees in the room were injured.
The building was boarded up in the morning, and there was no repair cost estimate.
The Driver Was Arrested
Following the crash, the driver, Louis Rosario Rodriguez, a 41-year-old man, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI.
Rodriguez had a cut near his left eye, but it’s unclear if he needed medical attention. Overall, his injuries weren’t believed to be serious.
“All of a sudden, the car came barreling through,” Manchester Police Department spokeswoman Heather Hamel later told WMUR. “Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. One employee was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Other than that, no one else was harmed.”
There are no details about what happened before the crash.
Rodriguez was able to get out of his vehicle but did appear to be intoxicated at the scene, per police.
