Spinit Casino Review

Spinit Casino is a casino that I decided to review as a few of my friends had mentioned they had won a few bucks there.

According to many websites they are owned by Genesis Global, but I believe there was a change of ownership in 2024. Unfortunately, they do not show any ownership information on their site so I cannot say for certain who their owners are.

In my Spinit Casino review below, I will take a look at the games, casino promotions on offer, software providers, payment methods for New Zealand players and customer support.

My initial impression of the website is that it is very basic. It has a black background with green buttons.

You can see that the website was designed with mobile players in mind as the desktop version is not at all user-friendly.

The layout is very basic with hardly any information on the home page. No details of the owners, license details or even a responsible gambling page. This may be a temporary thing while they undergo the ownership change, so I am not going to hold it against them.

However, I found some decent information on the Casino page, which lists all available games to play and various categories such as Top, New, Popular, Exclusive, Irish Slots, Bonus Buy and more.

One of the things I look for in an online casino is a decent range of games; in this aspect, Spinit Casino didn’t disappoint me.

Below I have written down some of the types of games I found while doing this review.

Pokies: There is a large selection of online pokies, from Megaways pokies to video slots full of bonus features.

Video Poker: I could only find 5 online video poker games which was a little bit disappointing but they do offer Who Wants to be a Millionaire Video Poker which has a different spin on the traditional video poker game. They also have Lucky Video Poker and Video Poker Live which were also very enjoyable.

I was pleased to see that Spinit Casino has a very generous welcome bonus, along with other promotions. Here is what they have to offer:

Welcome Bonus: When I signed up, I was able to claim a 100% welcome bonus of up to $1000 plus 200 free spins on my first deposit.

The wagering requirement for the bonus and deposit is 35x which is pretty average at most online casinos. However, the free spins wagering requirement was a bit higher at 40x.

You have 10 days in which to complete the wagering requirements.

Weekly Cashback: I also found a weekly cashback offer of 15% up to $6000.

This was quite promising until I saw that this offer is only available to players on the top 3 VIP levels of their loyalty program.

The qualifying period is from Monday to Sunday each week and the amount you receive back will depend on your VIP level.

I guess it is a good incentive to sign up and become a regular player so that you can take advantage of the cashback offer.

Weekend Reload Bonus: There is a weekly reload bonus of 50% up to $1400 plus 50 free spins.

It is available each weekend from Friday to Sunday and you must opt in to receive the bonus.

The minimum deposit to receive this bonus is $100 and the wagering requirement on the bonus and deposit is 35x. The wagering requirement on the free spins is 40x, just like the welcome bonus.

Spinit Casino does not show the range of payment methods on its website. You can only view these when you sign up for an account and create a profile.

Paysafecard: This prepaid option was very convenient, especially since I didn’t have to share any banking details. The only downside? You can’t use it for withdrawals, as it’s a prepaid voucher.

• Bank Transfers: Great for cashing out, especially for bigger amounts. Unfortunately, you can’t use this method to deposit, but it’s perfect for larger withdrawals.
• Visa/MasterCard: A classic choice and very easy to use! It’s one of the go-to payment methods for us Kiwi players, and I liked that the minimum deposit is just $10.

This is the area where Spinit Casino truly excels as they have an excellent mobile version.

I did see that they have a stand-alone App but it is not needed as the mobile version does the job perfectly.

It is compatible with Android and iOS and the quality and clarity are clear on both.

I was able to browse all sections of the website and make a deposit via my mobile phone with ease.

I also needed to contact support about a banking question I had, and I had no problems doing this from my mobile phone either.

As I mentioned earlier on in my Spinit Casino review, their website is certainly geared towards mobile players rather than Desktop players.

That is not a bad thing though, as mobile is the way of the future as we all know!

While compiling this Spinit Casino Review I contacted the support team twice.

Live chat: The customer service team were excellent in terms of responding to my chat request immediately, but unfortunately I did not find them to be very knowledgeable as I asked them who their owners were and their licensing jurisdiction and both times they asked me to send an email to support for that information.

Email address: I was given the email address support@spinit.com and sent them an email requesting the above information. 24 hours later I am still waiting for a reply. Although to be fair, I did send them an email on a Saturday night New Zealand time so they may only operate their email during business hours.

I could not find an FAQ page although they did have a decently laid out terms and conditions page which covers some of the questions one would expect to see on an FAQ page.

Overall, I can’t say I enjoyed doing this Spinit Casino review as it was quite a battle trying to find all the information that was lacking on their website.

However, I won’t hold it against them as I think most of the stuff that is lacking is purely teething problems due to the new ownership.

The main thing is that they are a secure site with over 4000 online casino games from reputable software suppliers.

All of these games are available in demo mode too, which is a perfect way to try them out without having to play for real money first.

The support team were very responsive despite being unable to answer my questions, but I think if my questions had been more specific to a problem with my casino account, they may have been able to help me.
