Quantum Blackjack is a common draw Live Blackjack game. It means that you’re not the only one playing against the dealer and are essentially playing at the same time as all other players. There are no real drawbacks to this and one huge benefit: You don’t need to worry about finding an open spot.

You can wager anywhere from £1 to £2,000 per hand on Quantum Blackjack and use the chips in the bottom-right corner to make these wagers. Simply choose the chips and click on the main bet or side bet spaces to wager them. The more times that you click, the more chips will be added to the wager.

Use “Undo” to retrieve your chips and cancel your wager (only possible before the game begins), and use “Rebet” to place the same wager following the end of a hand.

Choose to “Hit” or “Stand” and try and get as close to 21 as you can. Remember that the goal of the game is to beat the dealer and not to reach 21, but the game will push if the dealer goes bust with three cards. This rule means that you may need to adjust your usual approach if you want to walk away as the winner.

There are several wagering options on Quantum Blackjack. The main wagers are “Hit” and “Stand”.

If you choose to “Hit”, you will be given another card; if you choose “Stand”, you’ll settle for the cards that you have and end the hand.

There are a few other options, as well, but these are not always available and will depend on certain circumstances:

Double

A “Double” draws one more card at the cost of a doubled wager.

Split

A “Split” option appears when two cards of the same number appear. Players can “Split” them into two separate hands, placing wagers on each of them.

Insurance

You can only make an “Insurance” bet when the dealer is showing an Ace as their up-card. It pays 2:1 if the dealer’s next card is a 10, Jack, Queen, or King. If that occurred without an insurance bet active, the dealer would win.

Push

If the dealer busts on three cards, the hand will be a push, with the player’s money returned. There is an exception for multipliers, though.

Multipliers

The multipliers play a big role in Quantum Blackjack, as this is where the big payouts come from.

Prior to every hand, a random multiplier can be assigned to each card. These “Quantum Multipliers” go as high as 10x and can be stacked on top of one another, in which case they are multiplied by one another. For instance, if there are three 10x multipliers, the game will hit the maximum 1.000x.

The player will only earn this amount if they have the winning hand at the end.

There are two side bets on Quantum Blackjack and these can be played alongside the main game. You’ll find the side bet options on either side of the main bet option:

• 21 + 3: A side bet that forms a Poker hand from the player’s two cards and the dealer’s visible card. The side bet will trigger a payout depending on the strength of the hand, as shown below:
  • Flush = 5:1
  • Straight = 10:1
  • Three-of-a-Kind = 30:1
  • Straight Flush = 40:1
  • Suited Three-of-a-Kind = 100:1
• Pairs: A side bet that tasks the player with forming a pair from their first two cards. The size of the payout will depend on the quality of the pair.
  • Perfect Pair (25:1) = The colour and the suits match.
  • Coloured Pair (12:1) = Only the colours match.
  • Red/Black Pair (6:1) = Only the numbers match.
